Best BBQ EVER!

I was a bit skeptical about B'z mainly because I didn't think COS had good BBQ. THEY PROVED ME WRONG. I had the brisket and it was to die for. The fries were seasoned to my liking and from the time I ordered, sat down, & then used the restroom the food was there - EFFICIENT. So, this is not a good place, it's a great place!

The young guy behind the counter was rude and sarcastic to the point that I initially thought he was trying to be funny. If I had been an obnoxious drunk person at 1 in the morning I could maybe see the reason for acting this way; except I was on a lunch break from work with my colleagues. After conferring with my coworkers about the incident on the way back to work it was not just me who thought the guy behind the counter was being a sarcastic donkey's back side. The experience was such that I won't be going back there any time in the near future.

I have eaten here about five times and I have only ordered one item...the burnt ends sandwich with peach habonero sauce. It is excellent. I am pretty certain there is other good stuff on the menu but it don't care.

They don't have a lot of variety, but they are great at BBQ! I only wish they had a full restaurant, and not just a food truck.
(4)Jessica C.
The food is awesome, there's not a single they have that isn't good. Definitely a Colorado Springs must!

What is it with Colorado BBQ and unseasoned meat? A little salt, please? Un-rubbed pulled pork or brisket make for a drab lunch, saved only by the above-average sauce and probably best beans in town. Good quantity for the price. Pornographic though likely accidental, "just take your pants and shirt off" country-music with intermixed They Might Be Giants and Weezer make for and odd outdoor, beach-like ambiance adjacent to a long-forgotten brewery complete with owner's loose dog running around. If they only seasoned the meat! Soft and tender high-quality cuts not dried-out like Bird Dog BBQ. Cole-slaw was uninspired. Fries were ironically very seasoned, however in a good way. Again, beans were amazing.

The pulled pork BBQ with Carolina sauce was tender and moist. It went especially well with the coleslaw. If I had had more time, I would have tried one of the beers brewed on site. It was cool visiting a food truck with seating inside. If there hadn't been flies swarming around the tables, I would have given B'z 4 stars.

Great food, but the owner is a cranky old man when behind the counter. Limit your interactions or talk to him when he is out and about and enjoy his food.
(5)Donato L.
Great bbq for the price. Being adjacent to the beer is a turbo-bonus. The peach habanero sauce is the real deal.

The quesadilla is my favorite! The pulled pork sandwich is also a must try. My husband got the brisket and it's all he's talked about. The cheese curds are a guilty pleasure that I indulge in when I can. I really like the mild mustard based sauce but the peach habanero has great flavor I just can't do super spicy. I've heard raves about their ribs but I always miss it on Fridays. This place is great, quick and the staff is friendly.

My new go to BBQ place in the springs. Better than average and probably best in the springs . I had the brisket , nice and juicy and good smoke . Sauce was different but good .

We got the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. The meat by itself was very good. Our issue was that the whole sandwich was liberally smothered in sauce and neither of us were big fans of the either of the sauces. Portion sizes were not very large. The food truck is a neat atmosphere and it is right next to a brewery. Limited outdoor seating. Overall it was okay, but there are better BBQ places in Colorado Springs.

It was so so. The CO sun can kinda blast you so not having any covering isn't ideal. Seems like they are kinda of 'gripy' on how u pronounce their name. tips fr them on this.... A) dont spell it it weird if u complain about how people say it and b) this place is technically a chain so don't be too high and mighty. Whining aside. Food was good but overall not memorable. I cant even remeber what i had. Seems like the little things unfortunately overshadowed it

So I had B'z Fish Sandwich yesterday. Awesomeness. Come get some.

B'z BBQ. A must place to eat BBQ! Sure it's a truck, and yes it's a one man crew, but wait until you taste the briquette! You will be more than a hungry person; you will be an instant fan! And to top it all off, if great food was not enough, he will bring your food into the Colorado Mountain Brewery (15 paces from each other). Yes folks you too can have Chipotle smoked porter and B'Z BBQ all at the same time from these two down to earth establishments. Good people, great food, a micro brew and right here in town! p.s. if you like the heat, ask the boss for the ghost pepper BBQ sauce. (Consume at your own risk)

There's really no way I can stress how awesome this place is. Every time we go I feel a renewed faith in the food that can be created in a stifling environment. Who says you can't be successful out of a truck in a parking lot behind a K-Mart, next to a strip club? B'z is clearly proof that you don't need the hottest location and the most expensive real estate to run an awesome business. We come here every time we come to the springs, so about twice a month. I've tried pretty much every meat that is offered here: brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork and recently the chicken. The chicken and the pulled pork are probably my favorite, although the chicken does have the skin on. There are three sauces to choose from: mopping and sopping, Carolina Mustard (good tang), and peach habanero (probably my favorite). My husband always orders the BBQ nachos: chips with cheddar cheese, onion, beans, pulled pork and peach habanero sauce. B is always extremely kind, and on the rare occasion that an order doesn't come out exactly like we ordered (we ask for no onions a lot of the time) he often completely remakes the dish, which is a lot of work considering he is the only employee. Last time we told him we would deal with onions (which I love anyway) and to thank us and show his awesomeness, B brought out a free order of his new Funnel Cake fries. Now, I've never had funnel cake before, but after having that i do understand the appeal of the carnival treat. There's also hot dogs, (topped with pulled pork and coleslaw if you want,) cheese curds, pretzels, and lots of other goodies that go great with the beer at Rocky Mountain Brewery in the same parking lot. No visit to the springs is complete without a visit to B'z- venture outside of the big boxes of BBQ and try a small cart with huge flavor.

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch visit today. Very nice proprietor, good sized portions, and good food. I had wonderful company too, but that's not reviewable here. Very interested to try the rest of the menu. Loved the 'Ghost Chili Sauce' glad another patron told me about it. The Spicy sauce is good, but too sweet for my tastes, the extra kick of ghost chili made it complete. Pulled pork was my first experience here, but I will be back, and my wife commented on how much bigger this sandwich was compared to another BBQ joint several miles north on Powers. Very pleased, will visit again (and will have to try some frosty adult beverage from the brewery as well!) And it closes early enough the establishment just to the South would not interfere with taking my family to dinner.

We had the burnt ends sandwich, the brisket sandwich, and the curds. I thought the meat here was very well prepared. The brisket was moist and had a nice flavor to it. The burnt ends also had a good flavor to them. Not the best burnt ends ever, but definitely above average. I thought their curds were very tasty, but I was not a huge fan of the dipping sauce. We were very excited that they offered a Carolina mustard sauce. That is something I haven't really found since I moved to Colorado. Unfortunately, this was more of a relish than a sauce. I'm not really sure I liked it. Definitely not what I was expecting to get. Prices are good. Service is about average.

Stopped by the other day and was pleased with the food. I had the burnt ends sandwich and it was good. Sauced r really good. The peach habanero was good if u like spice. Some of the chunks of burnt ends were dry. Don't know if I'd go out of my way to eat here but considering the Quality of BBQ in the Colo spgs and Denver area this is pretty good. Still looking for a place that serves fresh bbq that's not at least a day old. Disappointed they don't serve brisket sliced. Great location next to the brewery though. Nice to have good beer with BBQ.

The delicious smells. They call "Eat at B'z", even when you aren't nearby. You'll love the brisket and pulled pork...and beans. I love eating here! I come to Rocky Mountain Brewery (B'z is just outside) and frequently grab a bite to eat as they are the perfect combo. I haven't had anything bad yet and up next are their ribs. They have a couple different types of sauce and plenty of meat choices. Drinks are inside! I can't wait for next weekend - the only question is: half rack or whole?
(5)Shun F.
My favorite BBQ joint in Colorado Springs. Reminds me of the delicious food trucks in California. Their brisket topped burgers are absolutely fantastic and my favorite. Their choice of sauces are also good (my favorite being the Carolina mustard). I'm not the biggest cole slaw fan, but their slaw, I could eat for every meal. Every time that I've gone to eat at B'z I have not been disappointed. It's a bit tough to find at first, but it's well worth the search. With Rocky Mountain Brewery just next door that makes it all the better.
(4)Hiram L.
Food is average, nothing really special but it is the only place to eat near the brewery. and they close to early so the late brewery crowd goes without and they go elswhere to eat and have a brew which i think hurts buisness.
(3)Justin G.
Best BBQ in the springs, certainly the only mustard base even worth eating!
(5)Summer B.
To begin I want to give the disclaimer that I am very picky when it comes to BBQ and have yet to find a place in Colorado Springs that has met my expectations. With that being said the food wasn't bad. I have had better but I have also had worse. My only real disappointment was that the funnel cake fries were overpowered by the same seasoning that is used on the fries so I could not even eat them. The ribs were tender. The burnt ends sandwich was pretty good. If I am in the area I may go again, but I will not make a special trip.
(3)Phil S.
Amazing BBQ... and thats from a Texan. I haven't had a bad meal here yet. I suggest the ribs, pulled pork, chicken sandwich...scratch that try everything. Its a one man show and he knows what he is doing. Price is very reasonable and thats surprising for a BBQ joint.
(5)Courtney R.
I am a food truck fan and this is some good food from a truck. Order your dish of choice (because everything is good and worth trying!) and go into Rocky Mountain and grab a beer. They will bring it in to you and that's what I call service!
(4)Mongoose K.
Two trips in less than a week! This place is on point. The sandwiches are loaded and the meat is awesome. I cannot rave enough about the carolina mustard sauce on the burnt ends sandwich. The food put out by this place is outstanding!

Great BBQ
(5)Jo L.
Got some take out for lunch and it was GREAT!! The sauce was good and the cole slaw was the same. Not the best BBQ I've had but the best I've had in the Springs. Definitely recommend. Very few seats, which are all outside. Next to a brewery, that's a plus.
(4)Mike G.
Don't let the served out of a truck fool you. Always is good and is very clean. Is a little pricey but excellent Brisket. Very good corn bread and awesome beans.
(5)michael i.
This is THE BEST BBQ I have ever had! Right next to an incredible brewery, and with outdoor seating, this place is amazing. As the airplanes zip by overhead, and the friendly hometown service makes you feel completely great, this is something not to be missed. I had the Brisket tips and they were amazing. My mouth is literally watering as I write this. I wish I were back there....
(5)Mike M.
This is the best BBQ in the springs. B'z is a great value hidden away next to Rocky Mountain Brewery this place is definitely worth your time to seek it out. Look for the big yellow trailer right on the corner. The flavor of the meat has great smoke flavor and the sauces are original and tasty. There are some other good BBQ places in the springs but I challenge you to taste there meat without the sauce and tell me its as good as B'z . On a side note Rocky Mountain Brewery next door has some of the best beer around. Stop by and check em out.
(5)Eric L.
second time came back for a half a rack of ribs. so very very very good. meat was falling off the bone. best bbq in springs by far. it's not close. i've tried rudy's, front range, bird dog, famous d's. nothing compares to this. and all the sides i've had are very good too.
(5)Rheadione G.
My favorite BBQ! I followed "Yellow Truck Guy" a.k.a. B'z BBQ Company from his previous spot to his new one. The new spot being just right for a summer day with a nice sunny patio, Buffet for tunes, and planes overhead for entertainment. Definitely recommend the burn ends brisket sandwich.
(5)Kevin T.
try the brisket sandwich with the peach halbenero sauce
